Members need to register for events so that we have a head count for equipment and supplies necessary for each event. Most of the events are free to all members. Non-members will pay $15.00 a non-member fee for each event they register for.
Welcome to Fall!! Oct will be filled with the smells and colors of fall. We start off at Cold Springs Apple Orchard where members will learn the process of cider making. They will then head out to the orchard to learn about apple varieties and pick apples.
At our next event, we will do a BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) Event at the Beyond Crayons Art Studio . Members will use our provided carving tools and designs to carve their pumpkins.
Our hike for this month is at Bear Hole Reservoir in West Springfield. The members will discuss what happens to trees, plants, insects, birds and animals in the Fall.
There are no garden events for the month of October.
